A Little Space

A lot can happen in a small space of time. Which means it’s never too late to start something or to finish something or to try something new. Literally the older I get and potentially the less time I have left, the more I feel ready and available to do and try new things and it’s not out of desperation it’s just from experience showing that there are so many ways. There are so many directions, there are so many options of how to live this life, so many suits and so many hats to put on and to take off.

So it’s been one year now in A Little Space in Lismore and the greatest thing I experience day in and day out is the inspiration that comes from togetherness when two people meet each other, and time is give however brief and energy put into listening and then conversation  and then it becomes ultimately therapeutic.

It is deeply inspirational to be a part of a community. This one here, Lismore on Bundjalung country. It’s a place where everyone is welcome regardless of age, religious or sexual preferences, skin colour, ability or disability. It’s a real meeting point of togetherness and that is powerful. It’s a brief moment to be a part of everything and free from separation and that is healing.

Find therapy in the simple act of togetherness today, within nature, with a conversation or simply with family or friends.  A Little Space is growing in being about to bring people together. I love it!

For the next six weeks in A Little  Space in Lismore I’ll be offering yoga classes on a Wednesday evening and I can’t wait to see who comes. So far I’ve treated through Zenthai massage, quadriplegics, a Yolngu medicine man and doctor, non-verbal, non-English speaking, drug addicts, farmers and the colourful list just goes on and I’m forever grateful for this openness and receptivity of this community to try something new, to come together to be better.

This six week yoga series will focus on the body, breath and the mind and cultivate that joyful connection that happens when we come together within ourselves and with each other.
