Tapping Into the Incredible Growth Energy of Spring

In Savasana, in a cocoon, within a cocoon, camp fire coals glowing warm, orange and red, at 0 degrees beside the Warrumbungle creek on Kamilaroi country. The last night of 4 weeks of the 5 on the road sleeping with feet in socks, hands in gloves, head in beanie and scarf around neck with a new found love of the hot bottle, inside a swag, smack bang in the middle of winter.

Our trip to Uluru and back had shown us many places and many new faces but more than anything else it had revealed to me so much more about patience!

You have to be patient out in the desert when your fuel pump fails, you have to be patient when waiting for the sun to rise in the early hours of the morning with no way of telling the time, when a rouge cow and  goat  wander across the road with no urgency to get anywhere, while waiting for the Wedge tail Eagle to land back on it’s roadside morning meal for the perfect photo op!

You try and force or hurry any of these things and frustrations are born and stress in the body begins it’s constrictive dance and we immediately separate from the person, the place, the moment and we miss out on a depth of connection that actually fuels us and restores vitality and passion in the ordinary day to day.

“The flower in nature reveals so much more of itself when we simply get out of the way” No projections, comparisons or preferences and free of a time line. Ahhh….

Here at The Prana Project we are always hoping to create spaces, opportunities and practices for ourselves in the day to day and for you through classes, workshops, trainings and retreats but until we see you in these moments see where you could get yourself out of the way for a moment from time to time, practice patience and feel a soft power begin to emerge from within, it’s always there waiting to fuel and empower you side by side with it’s neighbour stress. Who are you going to hang out with today? And when stress comes to play see it and move towards it peacefully and then turn towards patience.

Rivers of Love,

Shane
